Relocating employees is always a stressful endeavor for any company. Regardless of the reason and however great the new venue may be, the move always makes the staff weary: how will the commute be, will they get more or less space to work, how will their gain or loss compare with that of their colleagues, etc. And then is the actual act of moving – packing, disruption, setting up, dealing with the frustration of things not always working great at first.
In anticipation of this, we worked with L’Oréal’s management to craft a video featurette with the purpose of hyping up the new offices and outlining the reasons behind the move. The video was distributed among the staff in the weeks leading to the move.
